The Ink and Line series is inspired by traditional Chinese ink paintings, reflecting the richness of the variations created by the focus, intensity, weight, lightness and clarity of the ink. The artist incorporates simplified landscape painting techniques into the creation of the works. The work is made of resin material, which is fused in layers of woven lines. Like the lines drawn by a brush dipped in ink, the shades of ink and wash are the variables in the production process, making each piece unique.
